Alexander Jansen was born in the spring of 2005 in the beautiful city of Utrecht. From an early age, he received piano lessons from his mother, piano teacher E. Jansen, Professor Marjes Benoist, Thomas Beyer (winner of the Dutch Music Prize) and the great American/Ukrainian piano professor S. Edelmann.

In addition to playing the piano, he also composes his own music.

From 2015 to 2023, Alexander was part of the Academy of Musical Talent programme for young talent at the Utrecht Conservatory. He is now pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in piano at the conservatory.

In the spring of 2022, Alexander was chosen by the famous pianist Lang Lang, from among thousands of young pianists from all over the world, to be the only European pianist to participate in the Lang Lang Foundation Scholarship.
